The Grimani were a powerful Venetianfamily. Merchants, ecclesiastics, Doges (three of them held this position between the 16th and 18th centuries). Not surprisingly, among their many properties, they chose the Roncà fields, at the foot of the Lessini Mountains. Here the vine was already cultivated since a long timewith celebrated wines throughout all the Venetian Republic. Those same lands have been bought in the first decades of the 20th century by grandfather Pietro and they are today the heritage of our family. Certainly the Cavaggioni are not as rich and powerful as the Grimani. But we love this land more than anything else. We know every vine plant; we take care of every single bunch. We only vinify our grapes and personally follow every production phase. We are committed to ensuring that our wines can express, in an authentic way, the character of a territory and of those who produced it. We put our face, because our wines are the result of our work. Our wines are ourselves.
